ohDEER is the leader in all natural deer, mosquito, and tick control.
ohDEER maintains its corporate office in Wayland. Out of this office we also directly service Metropolitan Boston West.
ohDEER celebrates a decade in business in 2017.
Our franchise enterprise, launched only three years ago, has seven franchises with one each dedicated to covering one of the following geographic areas: North of Boston, South of Boston, Central Massachusetts, Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands, Eastern Long Island (NY), and Central New Jersey.
ohDEER is thankful for our growth and success. We work hard to gain the trust and loyalty of our customers. We highly value their trust and loyalty, and we are immensely grateful for the referrals and references our customers provide us.
Of course, a major reason people seek to keep their properties free of deer, mosquitoes, and ticks are the threats to health they present. Mosquitoes and ticks carry and transmit disease to humans, pets, and livestock. One way that ticks make it on to properties is through being transported by deer, which ticks latch on and whose blood they consume.
Ticks convey Lyme disease, which in humans can become chronic and inflict considerable neurological distress and impairment.
The Centers for Disease Control estimates that 300,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with Lyme disease every year.
ohDEER shares here, today, recent news and information on scientific research and study, ongoing for two years now, which shows that a certain natural sweetener and sugar substitute is a powerful method in the treatment of Lyme disease.
ohDEER likes natural treatments.
The Guaraní people of present day South America used stevia rebaudiana leaves 1,500 years ago as a sweetener. In the mid 1990s, stevia was introduced in the U.S. market as as sugar substitute.
Stevia may be taking on another use.
Consider this excerpt from a July 21 posting, titled, “Stevia Combats Lyme Disease,” at WorldHealth.Net:
“A recent study indicates that Stevia is more effective at combating Lyme disease than antibiotics. The study’s results were recently published in theEuropean Journal of Microbiology and Immunology. Lyme disease is particularly challenging to treat as it shape-shifts in quite a frustrating manner. Traditional antibiotics are not guaranteed to generate a lasting cure for Lyme disease. Enter Stevia. This natural plant just might be a more effective and safer way to treat Lyme disease than conventional antibiotics and other treatment methods.”
Imagine that. A botanical. A natural substance that just “might be a more effective and safer way to treat Lyme disease than conventional antibiotics and other treatment methods “
ohDEER will keep you updated on this most promising … this, yes, we will say it again, natural … Lyme disease treatment.
